Privacy Policy

This website does not collect anything about you. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party scripts of any kind. Your game progress is saved in your own browser and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
The sections below say the same thing in more detail, and are honest about the one thing that does happen automatically: our host records IP addresses in its server logs, as every web server does.
Who we are
This website is operated by Honey Badger Games Ltd, a private limited company registered in Cyprus under registration number HE 409308, with its registered office at Agias Zonis 12, Agia Zonis Center, Floor 4, Flat/Office 404, Agia Zoni, 3027 Limassol, Cyprus. We are the data controller for this website.

What we do not do
- We set no cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything.
- We run no analytics. We do not know how many people visit, or what they do here.
- We serve no advertising and share nothing with advertising networks.
- We load no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers. Loading this page contacts our domain and nothing else.
- There is no account and no sign-in on this website, so there is nothing to link your play to a person.
- We ask for no personal information — no name, no email, no payment details.
What is stored on your device
The game keeps your progress in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device. We cannot read it, and it is not transmitted anywhere. It exists so that closing the tab does not erase your squads and scores.

You can delete all of it at any time by clearing site data for 38-wins.com in your browser settings, or by using private/incognito browsing, which discards it when you close the window. Nothing is kept anywhere else, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Server logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web server, Cloudflare's infrastructure receives and records technical information needed to deliver the page and protect it from abuse — most notably the IP address of the device requesting it, along with the time, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string.
Under the GDPR an IP address counts as personal data, so we should be plain about it:
- Why: to serve the site, and to defend it against attacks and abuse.
- Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — we cannot deliver a website without responding to the address that requested it.
- Who handles it: Cloudflare, Inc., acting as our hosting provider and processor. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Transfers outside the EEA: Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States and may process log data outside the EEA. Transfers are covered by Cloudflare's data processing addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- How long: Cloudflare deletes edge access logs within about 4 hours, and keeps error logs for up to 7 days. We have no log export, log retention, or Logpush feature enabled on our plan, so we never receive a copy and nothing is kept beyond Cloudflare's own operational retention. We do not export, analyse, enrich, or build profiles from these logs.
We do not use this data to identify or track individual visitors, and we have no way to connect it to your game progress.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because of rules about storing or reading information on your device. Those rules carve out storage that is strictly necessary for a service you have explicitly asked for. The only thing this site stores is the game progress you created by playing — nothing for advertising, measurement, or profiling. There is genuinely nothing here for you to consent to, so we do not interrupt you to ask.
Links that leave this site
The site links to the App Store, Google Play, and honeybadger.games. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, and their privacy policy applies, not this one. We are not told when you click.
The iOS and Android apps are separate
This policy covers the website only. The 38 Wins mobile apps are separate products with their own functionality, and they are covered by the Honey Badger Games privacy policy. Do not assume the two behave the same way.
Children
This website is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since we collect nothing, there is nothing held about a child to request the deletion of.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
We hold no account, no profile, and no information that identifies you, so in most cases there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. Your game data is stored on your own device and you can remove it yourself at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to our supervisory authority, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (Cyprus), or to the data protection authority in the EEA country where you live or work.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics, accounts, or anything else that processes data, we will update this page and change the date at the top before switching it on. If a future feature ever needs your consent, we will ask for it properly rather than assuming it.
